Days after ex-Plantashun Boiz member, Blackace accused 2face Idibiaand Wizkid of song theft, 2face has responded describing the statements by Blackface as ‘unfortunate’.

In an interview with Channels Television, he said, ‘It is just so unfortunate. I do not know where it is coming from (but) I am trying to think of different reasons. At first I though his account was hacked’.
Asked if they are still friends, he said: ‘Blackface does not consider me his friend anymore. We will trash the whole matter but I got nothing but love and respect for him and it is just so unfortunate that he is coming at me like that’

Blackface had earlier this week, called out singer 2baba in a series of tweets for allegedly stealing a song he owned and threatened to sue him.

He also went ahead to tell HIPTV that 2BABA had also stolen other songs he had written in the past but he didn't really want to mention before fans say "Blackface has come again" but this time he won't let 2BABA go scot free with this, so he has decided to take the case to court and he will be fighting this case till the last of it. 

Now this is getting even more interesting because Blackface has just brought in another party into this whole issue by throwing shades at the Okoye's which people don't really think was smart of him. But let's see how this ends😄 we are all waiting to see what comes out from this....

LASSA FEVER: prevention is better than cure

With the recent outbreak of Lassa fever in the country, it is important for us to put in place preventive and control measures in our homes/offices most especially since reported cases has been confirmed in the region. 

The Minister of Health , Prof Isaac Adewole issued a statement on Wednesday, 6th January 2016 in Abuja in response to the outbreak of Lassa fever in the country in his statement he confirmed that the fever has spread into eight states namely : Bauchi, Nasarawa, Niger, Taraba, Kano, Rivers, Edo and Oyo. He added, “The total number of suspected cases so far reported is 76 with 35 deaths, and a Case Fatality Rate of 46 per cent. “Healthcare workers seeing a patient suspected to have Lassa Fever should immediately contact the epidemiologist in the State Ministry of Health or call the Federal Ministry of Health using the following numbers: 08093810105,08163215251, 08031571667 and 08135050005.

Lassa Fever is an acute febrile illness with bleeding and death in severe cases, caused by the Lassa Fever virus with an incubation period of 6 to 21 days.

About 80 per cent of human infections are asymptomatic, the remaining cases have severe multi-system disease, where the virus   affects   several   organs in the   body, such as the   liver, spleen and kidneys.

The onset of the disease is usually gradual, starting with fever, general weakness, and malaise followed by headache, sore throat, muscle pain, chest pain, nausea, vomiting,   diarrhoea, cough, and   bleeding   from   mouth,   nose,   vagina   or gastro-intestinal tract, and low blood pressure.

The reservoir or host of the Lassa virus is the “multi-mammate rat” called Mastomys natalensis 

Prevention:

It is important to promote good hygiene. Here are some more measures to keep in place: 

·         Avoid contact between rats and human beings;

·         Keep your house and Environment clean

·         Cover all foods and water properly.

·         Cook all foods thoroughly

·         Store foodstuffs in rodent proof containers

·         Block all rat hideouts

·         If you suspect that rat has eaten any food, discard it

·         Family members should always be careful to avoid contact with blood and body fluids while caring for sick persons.

·         Disposing of garbage far from the home, maintaining clean households 

·         Effective measures include storing grain and other foodstuffs in rodent-proof containers.

The young man who just returned to school on the 4th of January 2016 to continue his study was confirmed dead earlier today. ISIS Torture Girl To Death For Violating Islamic Dress Code

ISIS fighters tortured a Syrian girl to death after she allegedly broke the Islamic dress code and her parents couldn’t do anything.
The 21-year-old victim was reportedly tortured by a sick female jihadi known as Oum Farouq who operates for the murderous terror group.
After the girl’s family received her body, they could do nothing because the Sharia Court supported the killing.
“She was harshly tortured. We have received her dead body full of physical effects of torture. The only judicial department in Manbij is the Sharia Court, which supports such crimes,” a heartbroken family member said.
According to the severe rule of ISIS (also known as Daesh), women are forced to wear a black veil and are not allowed to go anywhere without a male companion.
The killing happened after the jihadi group murdered a young journalist before hacking into her Facebook account to hunt down her acquaintances.

FG Reportedly Orders Security Agencies To Arrest Dikko

The federal government has reportedly ordered security agents at the nation’s airports and borders to arrest Abdullahi Dikko, the former comptroller-general of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), as soon as he returns back to Nigeria.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has reportedly trailed the ex-customs boss to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

On Friday, January 8, the EFCC operatives stormed Dikko’s residence at Jabi in Abuja and conducted a thorough search.
According to sources within the anti-graft agency, the search took several hours and ended at about dusk. However, the agents did not meet Dikko at home.
The EFCC was allegedly looking for huge sum of money, believed to be stashed in a residence owned by the former customs chief.
Speaking with The Punch, a senior official of the commission revealed that the EFCC had trailed the ex-customs boss to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. However, the source but did not give the reason for the trip.

The source alos refused to speak on the specifics of the investigation or the reason for the high-profile raid but noted that the former NCS boss would be arrested on his arrival back to Nigeria.
“The commission has information that the man is in Dubai. I can’t say precisely why he is in the UAE; you know that most of our leaders have one problem or the other, medically, which makes them travel out. But we have informed airport authorities in Lagos and Abuja to pick him up as soon as he arrives,” he said.
It was also gathered that a delegation of top operatives of the EFCC was billed to travel outside the country for a mission connected with the ongoing investigation.
When contacted, Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesman of the EFCC, said that he did not have any information on the issue.

President Buhari To Host U-23 Dream Team, Golden Eaglets

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally picked a date to host the successful Golden Eaglets and Dream team who won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup and the U-23 Africa Nations Cup.

 Speaking to reporters after the 2015 Glo-CAF awards in Abuja, sports minister Solomon Dalung said the federal government has a comprehensive package for the successful teams led by Coach Emmanuel Amuneke and Samson Siasia.
The minister however stopped short of naming what reward packages are available to the teams and their coaches.
The teams will be rewarded alongside other athletes who made in country proud in other sports.

Dalung told reporters: “The 21th of January 2016 has been approved by president (Muhammadu) Buhari as the day for the reward for those who have made us (Nigeria) proud,” Dalung told media.
“Indeed the Federal government has approved a comprehensive package for all athletes and is not limited to football but even scrabble, basketball and others that have made the country proud.
“The package is subject to the recommendation of Mr President. Since it is a package, it cannot be unveiled until that day.”
Amuneke led the Golden Eaglets to success at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile while Siasia  Nigeria’s maiden African U23 Championship title hence qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

A man by the name Kehinde was said to have allegedly killed his own 22-year-old biological son, Sola Akangbe by setting him on fire early in the morning of Saturday, January 9.
The sad incident was said to have occurred at Omu-Aran area of Kwara state after the victim could not survive the various degrees of burnt he got.
Sola Akangbe had serious and series degrees of burns. He was certified dead after all efforts by doctors in Ajisafe Hospital, Omu-Aran to save his life proved abortive because his body parts were seriously affected by the fire. It was some police officers that rushed him to the hospital.
The deceased eked out his living by pushing wheelbarrow to carry people’s goods.

Sources had it that the wheelbarrow pusher was said to have stolen an undisclosed amount of money belonging to some roadside beggars before he was arrested and handed over to his father, Kehinde.
Sola’s father who is a commercial bus driver was reported to have taken him to a nearby bush close to Omu-Aran-Isanlu-Isin road. Thereafter, the deceased had his hands and legs tied with ropes and set ablazed.
Sola, who was still alive when he was rescued, told his rescuers that his father was responsible for the act. It was also learnt that the victim confirmed that it was his father that set him on fire as he told his rescuers before he eventually died.
The deceased mother, Rachael has been in sad mood as she was found crying endlessly in the ward of the hospital Sola was brought for treatment after her son’s death. Although, Rachael said Sola was very stubborn, but she was totally shocked when he heard of her husband’s cruel behaviour.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Kwara state, Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the sad incident and said the police has begun investigation into the matter as they have the suspect, that is Kehinde in their custody.

DSS Papers Show Kanu Had No Weapons In Posession

of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB),Nnamdi Kanu, did not have any weapons in his possessions when agents of the Department of State Security (DSS) arrested him on October 15, 2015.

A document compiled by the DSS and exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters show that no weapons were among the personal items in Mr. Kanu’s possession at the time of his arrest. Mr. Kanu is also the director of Radio Biafra, a clandestine station that broadcasts pro-Biafra messages.
Since Mr. Kanu’s arrest at Tulip Hotel in Lagos, Lagos State, there had been rumors on social media that Nigerian security agents had discovered several guns and other weapons among his belongings.
The handwritten DSS document show that the list of items belonging to Mr. Kanu included numerous pieces of technology and digital communications equipment. The Biafran agitator had four laptop computers, two iPads, five computer modems, six mobile phones, thirty-eight SIM cards for various mobile networks, one Alexis Multimix transmitter, and several mixers and microphone equipment for recording.
The DSS document did not specify whether the technical and communications equipment were being actively used for Radio Biafra broadcasts at the time of Mr. Kanu’s arrest.
Other items belonging to Mr. Kanu, and listed in the DSSdocument, included Pierre Cardin trinkets, an assortment of colognes and body oils, male clothing, eyeglasses, and wristwatches.
Even though the DSS arrested Mr. Kanu in Lagos, they subsequently moved the fierce advocate for Biafran secession to Abuja where they detained him for weeks without formal charge. Mr. Kanu’s legal team has alleged that, while in confinement, their client was denied medical and legal attention for several weeks before being formally charged for crimes against the state.
After the government withdrew the initial charges against Mr. Kanu, DSS agents rearrested the Biafran agitator on fresh charges that were filed at a Federal High Court. The case against the IPOB leader is winding through the judicial system.
